A microcomputer based system to evaluate performances in satellite communications

A real time out-of-service Error Measuring System (E.M.S.), act to better understand and to model the error process in digital satellite communication systems, is proposed. The E.M.S. is also useful for the desing of error control codes and transmission protocols.
