Design and Implementation of Spacecraft Network Monitoring System based on SNMP

A spacecraft network monitoring system based on SNMP is presented in order to conveniently obtain the status of network devices in the spacecraft and integration test network. Network monitoring terminal consisting of functional modules are designed and developed in Visual Studio environment using open source C++ libraries. The whole spacecraft-ground Ethernet network status can be monitored, controlled and recorded by the monitoring terminal. Two deployment examples in Chinese space station integration test are analyzed to illustrate the system applying effect. The system provides automatically monitoring methods and visual data check results, improving the network management efficiency. With general network interfaces, the system also supports multi-location spacecraft remote test.
