Utilization of pattern generators in Adaptive AUTOSAR Platform

This paper will provide an overview of the most used patterns in the implementation process of autonomous driving software and their generators. The emphasis will be on the creation process and use cases of software patterns in the autonomous driving industry. The description of generators and the explanations of their outputs are given through a series of examples. An overview of Test-driven development concepts will be given, as well as a look at the tests used for validation of the generated patterns. The purpose of the paper is to clarify the importance of patterns in autonomous vehicle software and what benefits they provide to the developer. Overall, this paper should provide a wider picture of code generation in AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform.
