This paper illustrates the implementation of a system which is capable of detecting an activated cellular phone in areas with restricted access. The system shall also prove to be instrumental in detecting unauthorized video recording transmission and preventing the intention of spying. The proposed system is capable of detecting transmitted signals in the band of 0.9 to 3 GHz and matching to a wavelength spanning across 0.033 to 0.1 meter thus preventing unauthorized usage of a cellular phone. The system is capable of detecting cellular calls both incoming and outgoing, exchange of Short Message Service (SMS), usage of mobile data services and transmission of video signals in spite of the mobile phone becoming in silent mode. The system also has the functionality of a mobile application facilitating real-time analytics of the detected signals in order to obtain insights.
