Marcela Constanzo, Sandra Casas · 2019
Actually, web frameworks are widely used by developers, since they allow streamlining the process of developing web applications, by reusing functionalities already developed and tested. The learning and use of these tools is often difficult because of several factors, including documentation. The documentation has provided to users is a key aspect for the usability of the framework, since its objective is to facilitate and help to them in the use of the framework and to optimize the development process, reducing time, effort and costs. Due to the scarcity of usability proposals (methods, evaluation models, guidelines or guides) specific for web framework, this study proposes to identify, characterize and analyze the usability problems of resources and documentation supports that currently they are available to developers. From these results, a device is provided that allows to identify problems of usability of web frameworks, in a simple, economic and fast way.
