The existence of primitive normal elements of quadratic forms over finite fields

We establish a sufficient condition for existence of a primitive normal element [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] is a primitive element, where [Formula: see text], with [Formula: see text] satisfying [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text].
