A community in a network can be defined as a dense sub graph that is loosely linked to other communities. A social network graph contains nodes representing actors (generally people or organizations) and edges representing relationships or communications between the actors. Community Detection aims to divide the graph into different subsets, but an entity may belong to more than one community in reality. The existing video recommendation systems use artificial neural networks to implement the recommendation system. Kolam is a geometrical drawing consisting of lines and curves that runs around each point to form a pattern. We propose a novel method for community detection and video recommendation using the Kolam patterns considering it as a data structure.
