To attract more users to participate in product innovation activities and then get optimal solutions, firms and the crowdsourcing platforms should take some effective incentive measures to motivate these solvers in the whole co-creation process. Furthermore, users' behaviors may be affected by intrinsic and extrinsic motivations, and any other factors. Based on motivation theory and self-efficacy theory, firstly, three dimensions are considered to analyzed users' behavioral intention to participate in product innovation activities in the crowdsourcing system, which include extrinsic motivation, intrinsic motivation and Internalized extrinsic motivation. Secondly, this study proposes a research model and some relevant hypotheses. Finally, the empirical test using the structural equation model has been given. The results showed that both the intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation have significant positive influence on users' participation intentions, while internalized extrinsic motivation behavior had no significant influence on users' participation, self-efficacy is positively correlated with intrinsic motivation, attribution that contribute to the crowdsourcing platform is positively correlated with extrinsic motivation, and career development is also positively correlated with internalized extrinsic motivation.
