In this paper, a review is done on algorithms for Fast Motion Estimation for High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). Motion Estimation is the important process in video compression technique. This takes around 70% of total encoding time. Many algorithms are designed to reduce the encoding time so that video compression can be faster.
