The AUTOSAR has established as the worldwide software standard architecture for automotive embedded hard real-time systems. AUTOSAR was basically designed for the single core ECU (SCE), but due to the increasing demand of the computational power and the automotive applications the automotive industries are moving towards the multicore ECU (MCE) to produce the cost-efficient system. When migrating the AUTOSAR applications from SCE to MCE it faces two challenges: First, mapping of the runnables of AUTOSAR application to the different core due to data dependencies. Second, producing the same data flow on MCE as in SCE to guarantee the same functional behavior of the automotive system. In this paper, a solution approach for mapping runnables to different cores to meet all its corresponding timing & precedence constraints in consideration of the hardware dependency and inter runnable communication cost is suggested.
