Children's games are an important part of human growth. Vivid and educational children's games are more popular. In this paper, we design and develop a children's game system based on mixed reality technology by using a variety of digital media technologies. The system uses HoloLens combined with Unity as the main platform, taking animal cognition as an example for infant games design. It mainly includes vivid augmented reality animal display, virtual book about animal introduction, cognition of animal habits, interactive guidance and review consolidation. Through innovative and novel display forms, children can recognize animal related knowledge in a mixed reality environment. We are trying to explore new forms of realization for children's games.
