An IoT Based Approach against Physical and Mental Assault in Educational Institution

Ragging (physical and mental assault) can cause explicit physical harm or implicit mental loss. Juniors are victims of physical and mental assault by their seniors basically in educational institutes. It has become a major issue for students day by day. It is possible to take action against this prohibited work (ragging) with the help of revolutionary topic called Internet of Things (IoT). Coping with the new era of IoT we have developed an application that can help to prevent hazards from educational institutes. Our proposed system ensures students about a ragging free environment, helps anti-ragging committee of an educational institute to find out the raggers with evidences and punish the raggers afterwards. Students can share their own experiences without fear with the community hiding their identity. Institution authority can use this system to stop ragging and make a compatible environment in the institution.
