On Synchronisation of Internally Positive Agents over a Random Communication Network
Philipp Welz, Jan Lunze · IFAC-PapersOnLine · 2019
This paper addresses the synchronisation problem of internally positive agents that are connected over a random communication network. The network switches randomly among a set of possible communication graphs which are each active over a random time interval. It is shown that, if the local control units can be designed in a way that the system matrix of the synchronisation error is Metzler, the internally positive agents synchronise almost surely provided that the averaged communication network enables the synchronisation of the agents. Furthermore, the case of a random communication network with a leader agent is considered and a sufficient synchronisation condition is presented.
