Consensus versus Crowdsourcing in Collaborative Decision-Making Applied in Cultural Institutions

The paper presents an analysis of the decision-making process applied in the cultural institutions for choosing the best ICT platform, for purposes of developing a virtual exhibition for creative digital works. A review of the existing platforms and tools already used in creative digital field is performed and a multi-criteria analysis is described. The application of the consensus in decision-making process is presented and the use of the crowdsourcing approach is analyzed. The collaborative aspects of the decision-making process, based on consensus and crowdsourcing, are considered.
