E-voting schemes give more efficiency and convenience than the traditional voting systems. However, in a large scale voting scenario, faith in the traditional system remain unaltered because of the several potential security issues in e-voting methodology. Two important concerns are - receipt-freeness and coercion resistance of e-voting schemes. It is observed that there are schemes which are receipt-free but do not achieve coercion-resistance. We investigate the possibility of transforming receipt-free schemes into a scheme which can resist physical forced abstention attack. Our proposal is suitable for large scale voting schemes where polling stations are used during the process.
