High-level Graphical Programming for Big Data Applications

The thesis aims to reduce the complexity of writing Big Data applications via domain specific graphical tools following the flow-based programming paradigm. The graphical programming approach developed in this thesis is a first approach to support high-level Big Data application development by making it independent of the target Big Data frameworks.
