An Analysis of IoT Interoperability Standards in the Healthcare Sector

A large amount of work is currently focusing on the development of standards for IoT interoperability in the healthcare sector. The aim of this article is to analyze relevant IoT interoperability standards in the healthcare sector, and discuss their ability to ensure interoperability. A comparison framework and 11 comparison criteria are advanced to support this analysis. After examining them, we discuss some challenges that need to be addressed for moving forward towards attaining seamless interoperability.
