Developing students' testing skills: distinguishing functions
David Middleton · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2013
Students tend not to test programs well. This assignment forces them to create enough test cases so that they have demonstrated that a series of functions provided to them are different. We intend this experience will improve their ability, when they start programming, to create test cases that will justify their assumption that their program implements the function they want and not merely one that is similar.
