Game development as a culminating activity for CS majors: tutorial presentation

The popularity of three dimensional computer games has grown extremely rapidly in the past decade and currently drives development and sales of both graphics interfaces and computer systems. Not surprisingly, most computer science majors play 3D games as a leisure activity and for many majors an interest in game development provided the motivating force for entering the field. It is tempting, given the student interest, to include game development courses in the computer science curriculum.
