Tutorial on extreme programming (XP)

For a long time now, teaching Software Engineering has focused on the Waterfall Model, which consists of a number of steps. These steps include analysis, specification, design, implementation, installation, and maintenance. This model is sometimes referred to as Big Design Up Front (BDUF) and its use will continue to be used in first-time projects where something new and different is being implemented.
