PlanetLab: nifty tools

Zachary Kurmas · Journal of computing sciences in colleges · 2007

PlanetLab is a set of two labs during which students build a planetary motion simulator. They are intended to serve as a fun end-of-the-semester review for CS 1. During the first lab, students use basic concepts (expressions, conditionals, loops, and arrays) to implement a simple simulator. During the second lab, students review more advanced topics by adding file I/O and/or inheritance.
