Merging Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Wi-Fi networks to Software-Defined Wireless Networking (SDWN) more often appears in scientific papers lately. However, none of the proposed architectures allow securing the wireless part of the network. In this paper, we are introducing specialized EnDeC component, which can encrypt and decrypt wireless network traffic in SDWN using security standard WPA2. It also communicates with an SDN controller to preserve centralized management of the network. EnDeC component draws off the encryption and decryption functionality of the wireless Access point and improves the network performance.
