Research and Design of an Integrated Multi-service Monitoring Platform for Mine Safety

In view of the shortcomings of the traditional monitoring methods and systems in coal-mining industry, this paper deeply explores the resources of the GENE-8310 embedded industrial control board, and proposes an integrated multi-service monitoring platform which integrates the IP-based communications of video, voice and data. This paper introduces the architecture principle of this platform, hardware design and detailed definition of related modules firstly. Then through the simulation test of the simulation platform in the laboratory, it is proved that the platform can realize the design objective that all the services under the mine is IP-based.
