The Interpol Disaster Victim Identification Standing Committee

A Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Standing Committee is established following a decision of the 1980 Interpol General Assembly with a mandate to re-write existing DVI forms taking into account new technologies. A sub-committee is established to consider re-writing that manual and developing other training materials for DVI incidents.
