Satellite overall test matrix

This article proposes a methodology and its associated software to support satellite functional testing. In general, systems functional testing is a type of testing where satellite systems are tested against systems requirements. Functions of satellite systems are tested by sending telecommands (TC), and as an answer, the satellite system responds by a telemetry (TM). This telemetry embeds a measurement of a certain property of the system. It is checked against one or more success criteria to verify whether the test has passed or not. Nevertheless, it is not because a test has passed that it is approved. Multiple approval levels exist before saying that a test has successfully validated a requirement.
