The Internet of Things (IoT) provides the ability for humans and computers to interact with billions of devices such as sensors, actuators, and other objects connected to the Internet. Considering the consumer electronic market, one of the main adopted wireless network protocols is Bluetooth and, nowadays, the Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) version. Therefore, the development of new services that interact with BLE-enabled devices is an interest topic for IoT. Specially when considering BLE-enabled devices that uses GATT protocol for communication. In this paper is proposed a solution based on the use of a flow-based programming tool, Node-RED, that allows data provided by BLE-GATT devices to be available to Internet services in an easy to implement way using widely used protocols, such as MQTT. Also, regarding interoperability between devices, it is proposed the use of oneIoTa data model to allow standardized communication between BLE devices and Internet services. Therefore, the presented solution should easier the integration of BLE devices with Internet services, and keep interoperability using a public data model.
