A Review on Breast Cancer Stroma Maturity Classification Using DtG Filter and SVM

Breast Cancer is the largest cause of women's death in the world today. The use of digital image classification allows a second opinion to doctors and physicians and saves their time. There is very less work done in the field of Breast Cancer image classification techniques, feature extraction and selection procedure and image classification findings. In this paper we provide the review of methods which can be used to classify breast cancer images on their maturity level. The review of DtG (derivative of Gaussian) Filter, LBP and SVM is provided in this paper. DtG Filter is used for feature extraction. LBP is used as a descriptor and SVM is used as a classifier.
