MARaB@U is a system for data acquisition and cvaluaLion develooed at the Tandcm Accelerator Laboratory of tlic the VSB port of thc memory and sends blocks or rormatted events to the Linux host. It consists of a front-end system Cor data readout, cvent building, and data transport based on the Multi Branch System MBS, and a back-end systcin responsible for serup, run control, histogramming, data analysis, and data sloragc written within thc ROOT framework. The ROOT pait includes a GUI to control (he MBS front-end, a histogram prcscntcr to visualize the data, and class libraries to describe thc cxpctiment.
