Iris biometric feature hidden based on chaotic encryption

Iris verification is considered to be the safest method of biometric identification, but it has been shown that iris features may be illegally used. In order to preserve the iris features and further improve the security of iris recognition, we present an iris feature hidden approach based on chaotic encryption. Experiments demonstrate that our proposed method can significantly improve the security of the iris images.
