Fractional Order Tchebichef Moment and its Invariants

Discrete orthogonal moments are computationally efficient as compared to its continuous counterpart. The Tchebichef moment shows less computation cost among moments defined in discrete coordinate system. In this paper, a generalized order of Tchebichef polynomial is presented. Moment and its translation, scale and rotation invariants are proposed and derived respectively. Various experiments are performed and the results demonstrate the robustness of proposed invariants.
