The Research and Design of Traffic Flow Statistics System Based on Video

Traffic flow is an important data for transportation and management. It can not only provide timely and accurate data for large institutions and enterprises for reference, but also help relevant departments to better manage. By applying the research results of computer technology in the visual direction, video surveillance can quickly and accurately count traffic flow. In this paper, we studied the implementation method of some common traffic statistics system, designed a statistical system based on computer vision and pattern recognition technology, studied in-depth on moving target detection, human target recognition and tracking algorithm, finally realized the purpose of traffic flow statistics .
