Eye Diagram Prediction for Input/output Buffer Information Specification-Algorithmic Modeling Interface (IBIS-AMI)

This paper introduced the eye diagram prediction method for input/output buffer information specification - algorithmic modeling interface (IBIS-AMI). The IBIS-AMI includes not only the buffer information but also the information on the equalizers. If the IBIS is only given, the eye diagram simulation including the equalizers would be limited. In other words, the IBIS-AMI is essential whenever we consider the equalizers during the SI validation. Therefore, this paper introduced how to predict the eye diagram including the equalizer's effect with the IBIS.
