The design of network layer protocol is one of the key issues in the research of Internet of things(IoT). We propose to design a network layer protocol with focus on the application of specific scenario. In this paper, the indoor environment monitoring application scenario is taken as an example and a matching network layer protocol is proposed. In view of the characteristics of multiple fixed nodes in the indoor environment monitoring scenarios, routing hierarchical design is carried out. The inner layer is based on the greedy algorithm, and the outer mobile nodes establish routing by grouping broadcast requests. On this basis, the concept of node importance weight is set as the basis for network establishment and routing repair. The performance evaluation shows that the greedy networking algorithms with multiple fixed nodes is better than the classical AODV, DSDV, ZBR and other wireless sensor network protocols in terms of packet delivery rate and average end-to-end delay in the application scenarios of indoor environmental monitoring.
