In the Quaternary era, the increased development in the medical field leads to the concern towards the authentication and security of the medical images. Sharing and transmission of DICOM image using a high secure encryption is challenging. To enhance high security, the confusion and diffusion techniques are employed. More chaos is brought out by introducing discrete chaotic maps such as logistic or tent map and continuous attractor like Lorenz attractor. To validate the algorithm several analyses such as brute force, statistical and cropping attacks are carried out to prove the effectiveness of the proposed work.
