Approved: Dr. John Sessions Skyline logging is a commonly used method of harvesting logs, particularly on steep slopes. Logging systems planners frequently solve two kinds of skyline analysis problems. The first is the maximum payload problem and the second is the standing skyline load path problem. Computer assisted skyline analysis techniques have been available for over two decades.
