Multi-Concern Integrated Engineering of Dependable Intelligent Systems
Elena Troubitsynå · 2019
Dependable intelligent systems should be able to deliver trustworthy services despite changes. It is an important requirement in many application domains. Development of intelligent systems spans over several domains and is inherently heterogeneous and multi-concern. Currently development of dependable intelligent systems relies on a wide diversity of methods and tools, while missing an integrated support for efficient information engineering. In this paper, we identify the challenges pertaining to the engineering of dependable intelligent systems and propose the Problem-Design-Exploration framework as a model of the adaptive service development process. We define the key concepts supporting multi-concern engineering and discuss the opportunities offered by the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) framework.
