Review of Credit Card Fraud Detection Techniques

Credit card fraud is one of the most prevalent issues of this century. Its detection and prevention is of the utmost importance to various banks and other financial institutions. This paper discusses a plethora of detection techniques ranging from Genetic algorithms to Sequence Matching to Neural Networks. These are among the few techniques discussed, analyzed and reviewed below. This paper also discusses various data manipulation techniques used to prepare data for the aforementioned detection techniques.
