Inhomogeneity Inforced Piecewise Smooth Chan-Vese Model for Image Segmetation

Approach to efficient piecewise smooth Chan-Vese model for images segmentation is developed. Computationally effective, robust to initialization and illumination inhomogeneity solution to Chan-Vese model was developed. Proposed approach was tested on synthetic and real images. Experimental results are presented.
