Aging of a quantum battery
Faezeh Pirmoradian, Klaus Mølmer · Physical Review A · 2019
Just like lithium-ion batteries, quantum batteries age and become less effective. The effect, due to decoherence and decay of emitters, is quantified and a recipe given so that the battery can be recharged back to its full capacity.
