RAMS and performance analysis

Rauzy Institut de Mathématiques de Luminy, Marseille, France ABSTRACT: For many industries, RAMS is limited to the production of numerical data, which provides an assessment of a system’s performance based on various hypotheses, which often don’t allow to describe thewhole picture. However, with the progress in computing and the development of language, such as Altarica, it is now possible to realize a precise statistic computation of the performances. In this paper, after a short introduction, 4 different case studies are reviewed in order to understand the practical benefits of this type of modeling.
