A Survey of Time Synchronization Algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks

Time synchronization technology is an important supporting technology in wireless sensor networks. It is the core to ensure the cooperation of various nodes, and is the basis of data transmission and node positioning technologies. According to the network structure, the time synchronization algorithm is divided into two types: centralized and distributed. The existing algorithms are described respectively, and their synchronization performance is analyzed. The possible future development direction of time synchronization algorithm is given.
