For Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), energy optimization is critical research problem since from last two decades. The clustering routing methods are proven to be effective for WSNs especially for the stationary as far as network lifetime and energy productivity. In the present paper, we suggested the novel Weighted Clustering and Routing Algorithm (WCRA) to address the challenges of the mobile sensor network. The clustering is performed by utilizing the key parameters, for example, node mobility, nodes lingering vitality, and distance are used to effectively to form the more stable clusters and cluster heads (CHs). The weight for each node is computed and exploited in process of CH selection. In routing phase, we modify the path selection process to solve the multi-hop routing problem by selecting the shortest, stable and energy efficient path to minimize the energy usage and improve the throughput using the similar weight factors used in the clustering process. The simulation results prove that proposed WCRA protocol perform efficiently over the state-of-art protocols.
