Abstract The technical parameters of transformer are the basic data for analyzing and calculating the comparative analysis of transformer economic characteristics, The comparative analysis of transformer economic characteristics is to seek for reducing transformer active power and improving its operating efficiency, That is to reduce the transformer loss rate, And reduce the reactive power loss of the transformer. The active power loss, reactive power loss and integrated power loss of transformer are calculated. The quantitative calculation formula of economic operation mode of transformer in substation is obtained through analysis, The economic operation mode arrangement and load adjustment can be carried out for the transformer of a certain substation, The purpose of economic operation of transformer and reduction of network loss can be achieved.
