Design of Receiving and Transmitting in AAL2 in STM-1 Data Acquisition Card

Nowadays, TD-SCDMA mainly adopts the STM-1 interface based on ATM and the E1-IMA interface based on IMA for transport. All the data acquisition is based on the process of ATM cell. This paper presents and analyzes in detail the total scheme and work principle of the STM-1 data acquisition card, including the key links concerned in receiving and transmitting procedures of AAL2. Through the actual data testing, the data acquisition card can receive, reassemble and resend correctly the cell in various ATM adapter layers. Measurements on the STM-1 data acquisition card have shown that the design can meet the requirement of the testing, and is of good effect.
