Design of double-edge-triggered dynamic flip-flop and its application

According to the feature of DETFF(double-edgetriggered flip-flop),this paper proposed a new design of DETFF which Based on double latchs constructure.Two modified DETFFs were compared with the previous design.Comparing with other several designs proposed before,this new one has a simpler structure.PSPICE simulation showed that this type of flip-flop has correct logic function and lower average power dissipation because of clear structure.The application of this type of double-edge-triggered flip-flop in sequential circuts was also introduced.Finally,a decimal counter which uses dynamic double-edge-triggered flip-flop proposed with common design method of sequential circuts.Simulatin figures out the counter has correct logic function and this new design has a successful application.
