Virtual Disk Techniques for Windows and Its Applications in Cloud Storage Client

Cloud storage is one of the most popular Internet applications.As a famous desktop operation system with the largest number of applications and the greatest influence Microsoft's Windows has the biggest market share.The virtual disk driver in Windows,with user-friendly interface,intuitive file control method,is the most ideal solution for the application of cloud storage.This paper,by analyzing two types of virtual disk driver,Windows Shell extension and VFS,discusses the methods in different scenarios for application deployment in cloud storage file systems.
