Optimize of Oracle and ArcSDE in the System of 3N MOMIS

The efficiency of the GIS based on database,as the core will depend on whether application software framework is reasonable,simple and efficient highly to a great extent,and the supported software and hardware are the secondary factors.In the light of the specific indicator,the capacity of I/O is an important indicator to measure the performance of the system. The 3N MOMIS is a database application system with huge amount of data but not having high complications.The system store GIS data through ArcSDE into Oracle and can be accessed by it.This article will analyze the feasible optimization methods for the performance of forestry GIS based on Oracle at the point of view of ArcSDE and Oracle coordination,and bring forward some special phenomenon emerged during the application of ArcSDE and the solution to it as well.
