The Design of High Performance Signal Source Based on DDS

The direct digital synthesis(DDS)is a new technology in the field of frequency synthesis. This paper briefly introduces the working principle and characteristics of DDS. Then it particularly ex-patiates on the engineering method of developing a signal source of high frequency resolution, high sta-bility and high purity, using the technology of DDS and singlechip, and presents the main circuit of sys-tem hardware , a program of frequency control word transmission and a method of spurious reduction .The design has a simple architecture, a good expanding performance , a nicer interface for interacting with the instrument that makes data input simple and dependable , a reasonable electromagnetism com-patible design that ensures the stability of the signal source.
