Facilities management system based on GIS and workflow technology

In order to improve the business cooperation capability of facilities management and integrate graphic processing with management system,geographic information system and workflow technology are briefly introduced.Besides,the workflow reference model is analyzed.Then GIS and workflow technology are employed to build the facilities management system.The method of integrating GIS with workflow is proposed.Finally,three layers distributed framework of facilities management system is put forward.The control center of this framework is workflow engine.The heterogeneous distributed nodes are implied as logic layer based on relational database.Multi-levels integrated management would be realized in this framework.Moreover,this framework would supply valuable references to the future development of facilities management system.
