Anti-Phishing System Using Intelligent Techniques

Phishing is one of the web threats; a phishing attack is considered successful if the user unknowing submits personal information to the attacker. Developing countries such as Iraq may have been facing internet threats like phishing. The phishing attack has plenty of approaches and techniques to conduct a well-designed approach. In this paper, an anti-phishing system has been presented to determine if a website is legitimate or not. The proposed system depends on retrieving information from various influential sources and analyzing the information by taking a final decision about the status of links based on proposed Fuzzy-PNN scheme. This paper tries to reduce the financial loss for both web subscribers and business owners based on proposed techniques to mitigate phishing.
